Jesuit School of Theology in Berkeley

The Jesuit School of Theology (JST) in Berkeley, CA is a Graduate school of Santa Clara University and an international center for the study of theology and ministry. Our world-class faculty, rigorous academic programs, motivated students and access to the bountiful theological resources at the Graduate Theological Union exemplify the JST educational experience. JST is the only school west of Chicago with an ecclesiastical faculty approved by the Congregation for Catholic Education to grant degrees in the name of the Pope. Faithful to the Catholic and Ignatian traditions of spirituality, JST provides an abundance of opportunities to exercise and reflect on real-world pastoral applications of what students are learning in class.
