Claretian Volunteers

205 W. Monroe St. 10th FL, Chicago, IL 60606

The Claretian Volunteer Program invites men and women between 21 and 30 to lay leadership by collaborating in service and ministry with the Claretian Missionaries. Volunteers commit to one year of service with the option to renew for a second year. They live in a community of peers and in solidarity with the poor. Working with Spanish and English-speaking communities for over 20 years, we serve immigrants, refugees, youth, young adults, the elderly, college students, as neighborhood organizers, and anywhere there is urgent need. Placement is available in Chicago, IL; Stone Mountain, GA.; and Springfield, MO. We provide room, board, a monthly and end-of-program stipend, transportation, health insurance, and AmeriCorps Education Awards and student loan deferments if available. We offer 3 yearly retreats, monthly spirituality development, and optional spiritual direction.
