November 1, 2013 - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
When: Friday, November 1, 2013
Time: 7 - 9 PM
Where: St. Patrick's Cathedral - New York, NY
Details: Nightfever is coming to Saint Patrick's Cathedral in New York City on Friday, November 1, 2013, from 7:00pm - 9:00pm. Over the past few years, Nightfever has spread at an incredible pace, becoming a regularly organized event in many cities around the world. Nightfever was founded in Cologne, Germany after WYD 2006.
The idea is to keep the "fever" of faith going strong. It is an evening spent in personal adoration and dialog with Christ. The vision of Nightfever is to give people the possibility to encounter Jesus truly present in the Eucharist. You will receive a candle at the entrance of the church that you can light at the steps leading to the altar where our Lord will be present in the monstrance.
Jesus Christ himself is the actual Host of the evening who invites everyone to come, seek rest, and be renewed in Him. Music will be played and sung by our volunteers throughout the whole evening to create a tranquil atmosphere that can help you to contemplate in prayer and to find your inner peace.
Please join us this evening, on the eve before All Souls Day, for a night of prayer, quiet and reflection. If you want to volunteer and be on out team, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
