I want to be...

Great cathedrals, enormous buildings, great enterprises, the inventions we today commonly use, such as a computer, cell phone, internet, were one day dreams that became projects, were accomplished, and are now a reality for us.

Have you ever have in mind some big project? Do you remember when as a child you pretended to be a police officer, firefighter, imitated your heroes, and wanted to be like them? That was quite a dream, right?

As children, we create life projects by saying, “I want to be a doctor, or a lawyer, or the president of the country.”

But life confronts us with obstacles and difficulties or distractions that take us away from our dream and our life project.

Let us imagine that one of these days we get home and are famished and want to eat whatever there is and our mom serves us an aweful soup and raw meat and she tells us she just didn't finish it…We probably would not accept it.

A teacher at my prep school always told us to finish what we started. If we don’t finish, it is useless. If you only see half of a movie, it is not worth it, because you probably missed the best part. Any great or small project must be finished. It is totally useless if incomplete.

Our great project cannot be half-baked. If you started something, finish it. Any great project is met with difficulties, but their creators persevered until they became a reality.

Scripture tells us, “if you are faithful in small things, you will be entrusted with great things.”

Our projects to paint the house, cut the grass, sweep the leaves, do laundry, help the family, might seem little, but if we create the habit of finishing everything we start, we will be ready to receive great things in life from God.

May God bless you always.

I think that this is all true

By TK

I think that this is all true and that yes we all have hopes of being something amazing in our lives but its hard to do so... but I think all you need is a little hope and never give up.

I know I can make it as a star someday and you should think like this because nothing good from being sad all the time.
