Do not worry about how you defend yourselves, or what you would have to say. The Holy Spirit will teach you what to say.
When we face a situation in which we need to speak the truth with courage, perhaps because we feel we will be misinterpreted or rejected, we are afraid. Sometimes we don't trust ourselves to say things truly but prudently. We might fear that we would fall into a verbal violence contrary to our Christian commitment. Or we could really feel intimidated and not dare way what we must. Many prophets felt the same way. But the constant promise of God to those who must proclaim his Word and truth is that he will always be with us. The Spirit will put the words in our mouths. It is truly not our truth that we are proclaiming, but the truth and the words of God.
Do you feel afraid when you know you need tos ay something, but the person or group before whom you should speak intimidates you?
