October 6 – St. Bruno

A saint from the 6th century, Bruno was a professor, who occupied prestigious positions and received great honors. But he did not allow himself to be impressed. He was not centered on himself or on his own importance, but on Jesus.  He began the Carthusian Order and lived in prayer throughout his entire life. He was a joyful man, full of vitality, and did not want his monks to be sad. His order has never been reformed because it has remained faithful to the spirit of St. Bruno.

Do you live with joy? Do you dedicate yourself to tasks and obligation with a joyful and generous spirit?
