Flora knew from an early age that she was called to devote her life to God as a religious and resisted the desires of her parents to have her marry, and became a nun. She sometimes felt that her life was too comfortable. At other times it was difficult and Flora wanted to return home to enjoy herself and live better. But with God’s help she remained firm. Many people recognized St. Flora’s holiness and would seek her for advice and prayer.
