Malawi's poem

I was hungry and you founded a club with humanitarian goals where you discuss the scarcity of food. I am thankful.

I was in prison and you went to church to pray for my liberation. I am thankful.

I was naked and you examined seriously the moral consequences of my nakedness. I am thankful.

I was sick and you fell on your knees to thank the Lord for giving you good health.

I was homeless and you preached to me the resources of God´s love. You seem to be so pious, so close to God!

But I am still hungry, I am still alone, naked, sick, a prisoner and homeless. I am cold…

And I wonder, Are these the true followers of Jesus?
