Regina was a young daughter of a Roman nobleman. Her mom died in childbirth and Regina was raised by a Christian maid who taught her the faith. When Regina reached adolescence, a rich young man wanted to marry her and when she refused, because she would have had to renounce her faith, her own father sent her to prison. As she kept firm in her faith she was tortured and eventually killed.
Would you die rather than do something you don’t want to do? What would that be? Is your faith important enough for you to fight for it? At some time have you felt a conflict with your parents about something you really believed in?
