If they had had a camera, they would have taken pictures of the moment as a souvenir. If they had had a phone, they would have recorded a video to upload it in YouTube. The thing is that the shining clothes of Jesus must have been very impressive, but not long lasting. Sometimes we, too, have an experience of God that is so real and wonderful that we wished it never ended. The Transfiguration gives us a little glimpse of hope. It is the proof that, no matter how awful things might be, the light and strength of Jesus will triumph.
