Bridget was born in Sweden in the 14th century and was always devoted to the cross. She married at the age of 14 and had eight children. Bridget was a lady-in-waiting to the queen and tried to convince the monarchs to lead a better life, but they refused to listen. She had grand visions and revelations throughout her entire life. Following the death of her husband, Bridget left all her possession and founded a congregation. She traveled extensively and did much good toward a lot of people.
