Elizabeth was a Spanish princess from the 13th century. She married the king of Portugal, who in the beginning loved her, but was later unfaithful creating scandals throughout the kingdom. Elizabeth was clear about her mission to educate her children properly, and avoid feeling bitterness and resent toward her husband, who in the end was so moved by her example and testimony, he converted.  "Everything will come out right, if you love.” St. Elizabeth of Portugal.
