This French 17th century woman received a great example at home, since her parents welcomed people who were poor at home and offered them lodging, food and the necessary medical attention. Catherine joined a congregation of Augustinian nuns and asked to be sent to mission in Canada. Life was difficult there at the time, full of persecution and dangers.
Catherine was often afraid, but decided to stay there. She died when she was 36 years old. Are you afraid of difficulty?
