He was a joyful man, very popular among his friends. He was the life of every party, but often, deep down, he felt an emptiness, as if something were missing. He finally realized that God was calling him to another type of life. He entered a monastery and practiced always the virtues of obedience and humility. But his best characteristic continued to be his joy, which he always spread to those who were near.
