Fabian was one of the first popes in the 3rd century. It is said that they were extremely good men. Sebastian was a Roman captain, who was very brave and good. When he refused to renounced his faith, he was riddled with arrows. A Christian woman noticed that Sebastian had not died and took him home to care for him. He was advised to escape the city but he went to demand that the emperor ceased the persecution. The emperor, instead, ordered the immediate execution of St.Sebastian.
